Nachdem wir im Jahr der Zukunft aus Zurück in die Zukunft nun schon ein paar mal mit angeblichen Hoverboards versorgt wurden, kommt zum Ende von 2015 nun nochmal eins.
Diesmal soll es allerdings tatsächlich überall funktionieren, 272 PS haben und knapp 30 cm über dem Boden schweben. ArcaBoard heißt das Ding und wurde von der Arca Space Corporation hergestellt (die u.a. Raketen für Google's Mondprojekt bauen). Es sieht aus wie ein riesiger Legostein, läuft mit über 200.000 Watt und soll am 15. April 2016 in die Läden hovern. Falls ihr auch eins wollt, fangt besser schon mal an zu sparen. Es kostet nämlich knappe 20.000$.

The vehicle is able to fly up to 30 cm (1 ft) and with speeds up to 20 km/h (12.5 mph) and the overall performance is limited by the onboard sensors. The maximum endurance is 6 minutes, but with the ArcaDock accessory the user can be back in action in 35 minutes."
