Nochmal ein neuer und mittlerweile dritter Trailer zum aufständischen Strategie-Game RIOT (hier 1 und 2). Die spielbare Revolution im Pixelformat wird nun schon seit 3 Jahren angekündigt und erscheint diesen Sommer dann nun hoffentlich wirklich auf Steam. Ansonsten gibt es bald wirklich einen Aufstand. Und zwar in den Kommentaren (und von mir). Immerhin sehen wir aber diesmal ein paar Pixel vom Gameplay. Sieht immer noch großartig aus!

Play as the Police
Employ numerous crowd-control tactics, both passive and aggressive.
Command Assault, Tactical, Ballistic, Arrest and Plain Clothes squads.
Call in police trucks, water cannon, snatch squads and others.
Choose whether to use smoke grenades, rubber and plastic bullets, tasers or even live ammunition.
Play as the Rioters
Instruct Leaders, Agitators, Rioters (armed and passive) and Journalists.
Incite rage and cause the masses to act aggressively or try to calm the situation with tactical crowd reformation and retreats.
Attack authority with Molotov cocktails, fireworks, paper-bombs, rocks, street furniture and the power of the media.
Multiple Modes
Twenty levels split over four campaigns Keratea (Greece), NoTAV (Italy), Indignados (Spain) and Arab Spring (Egypt).
See the story unfold from both sides - play all twenty levels as the Rioters or the Police.
Single player mode - play against the computer AI.
Skirmish mode - play against a friend on the same computer.
Multiplayer mode: play against a friend online.
Create your own Riots with the level editor
Alter the look of the confrontation by importing your own background graphics.
Position elements, vehicles and obstacles where you want them.
Set the time of day and the weather.
Choose and position rioters and police starting points as well as their orders and level of aggression.
Ich halte ja nichts von Waffen. Außer in Spielen natürlich. Das gilt insbesondere, wenn die Waffe eine Laserherzenpistolenkatze mit Wollknäuelwurfgeschossen und Dosenfuttergranaten ist, die man zum nachladen krault.
Es gibt ja nur wenige Dinge auf der Welt, die mir egaler sind als die Formel1. Insofern kann ich gar nicht in Worte fassen, wie unbedeutend ich FormelE-Wagen finde. Aber wenn ein backflippender Damien Walters am Start ist (oder am Ziel, keine Ahnung), bin ich auch dabei. Was ein verrückter Typ, ey!
Bildartikel hin oder her, die Schlagzeile ist es mir wert, das zu verlinken. So viel also zum Thema "Die Flüchtlinge beuten unser Land und unsere Steuerzahler aus". Sie ist schon sehr schön manchmal, diese ausgleichende Gerechtigkeit. Und ein weiteres Symbolbild für die Widersprüchlichkeit der Pegidioten.
Während hierzulande Oliver Kalkofe alles zu Böhmogan gesagt hat, was es zu sagen gibt, geht das heitere Lustigmachen über den türkischen Präsidenten, der dafür kämpft, dass er nie was mit einer Ziege hatte, weiter um die Welt. Nach der New York Times hat nun auch John Oliver sein Statement dazu abgegeben. Leider ohne einmal Böhmermann mit englischem Dialekt zu sagen - ansonsten liefert er aber wie gewohnt ab.
Und ich frage mich derweil, wie wohl die Reaktion von Erdogan aussieht, wenn er merkt, dass der von ihm geworfene Boomerang ihn erschlägt (vielleicht in etwa so)
Apropos für-das-was-man-sagt-bestraft-werden. Der Giftzwerg vom Bosporus wurde selbst mal für eine Aussage verurteilt. Und zwar zu nichts anderem als 10 Monaten Haft und lebenslangem Politikverbot (das leider wieder aufgehoben wurde). Erdogans ganzes Leben scheint eine einzige große Satire zu sein. Eventuell sollte das irgendwer irgendwie irgendwann mal verfilmen. Vielleicht findet man ja sogar eine Ziege, die die Hauptrolle übernimmt.
